Palestine

Orthopaedic Initiative for the Gaza Strip

MiST are leading a 2-year education programme in Gaza, Palestine. An individualized diploma programme taught in partnership with Edge Hill University, UK.

Education

Knowledge is the core belief of MiST. Through knowledge and education one can improve the local health and socio-economic status of a population.

Medical and Nursing Educataion

MiST provides Surgery on the ground, but also teaches and trains local medics and allied health care professionals with development of local hospital infrastructure - this is what makes MiST unique in the world of international medical support.
MiST invest skills into educating people in areas where resources, skills, manpower may be scarce. Through education, and a developing vision, a country can create assets in their people, their medical resources, their future.
MiST has helped develop medical infrastructure in areas of Pakistan, Sudan, India and Palestine.

Rapid Response Warehouse

MiST are currently equipping a Manchester warehouse with resources, medicines and specialist equipment - enough for several emergency response units and follow on care projects. These resources are key to prompt action.

Our new warehouse will enable MiST to act without the delay of obtaining funds to then purchase equipment. We can concentrate to assembling teams and directing help to where it is desperately needed.

All donations and funds raised will help us maintain equipment and medicine levels, which go directly to help some of the poorest people in the world.
